Dr. Arasu Gopinath, MD

Dr. Gopinath was excellent with my mother-in-law, and made a diagnosis that had not been done by her own doctors in Colorado. He referred her to a local nephrologist and got her an appointment immediately. I would highly recommend him

I love this guy!!! For years my Dr. couldn't figure out was wrong, after one visit with him found out was wrong. Always listens to me and when I have questions he explains it. An awesome and amazing Dr.

Dr. Gopinath refused to a critical medication, stating that he was not currently seeing me. In fact, I was seeing him every six months and had an appointment scheduled in two months from the time I called. I assumed that the medication was not critical since he didn't treat my refill with any kind of priority. But after 4 days of going without the medication I ended up in the hospital with a nearly fatal low level of potassium. I transferred to another Nephrologist at the same practice. But despite my communication to this new doctor regarding my problems with the medication refill, their office still attempted to bill me for a missed appointment with Dr. Gopinath after I was already seeing that different doctor. In fact, I was pretty much home-bound during that time following a week long hospital stay with a cardiac "event" believed to be due to my low potassium, but I also had to take weeks of short-term disability to recover from my low potassium incident. This all… could have been avoided if he had simply either provided me with prescriptions to make it from appointment to appointment, or had been willing to refill a prescription based on a phone request. I could not be less pleased with his performance as a physician and feel that he needlessly put my life in jeopardy.

it is very now a days to find any kind of a doctor who actually really cares about YOU, let alone a specialist. This doctor listens to you, does not make you feel rushed, does not talk beneath you. He takes his time with you. He has treated my high blood pressure successfully after close to 2 years with my primary family doctor trying. He is awesome in all areas!

My family and I seen Dr. Arasu as patients. What impressed me the most was I had taken my husband to see specialists in Phoenix, Az. and they were not able to diagnose his problems. My husband is a disabled vet. With Dr. Arasu' diagnosis we were able to get the help we needed. My son is hearing impaired and felt comfortable and at ease when seeing Dr. Arasu. I found Dr. Arasu to be be very confident, knew what he was talking about and really listened to his patients. I also had the opportunity to work with him when we lived in Page, Az. before moving back to Ky. If he was to move to this area, I would change doctors in a moments notice for my family to be seen and treated by him again.
