Please avoid at all costs. He is truly the worst. I arrived on time to my appointment and still waited well over an hour to see him. I finally got up to leave and his assistant found him standing around with a bunch of other doctors. I told him I was leaving and suddenly he was free to see me of course so he wouldn’t lose out on getting to bill a patient. He rushed through the appointment, didn’t leave anytime for me to ask questions. I literally had to stop him on his way out the door and say I had a question. The entire thing was rushed and he has zero bedside manner. I even had to suggest a possible cause of the knee pain I was feeling and only then did he acknowledge the possibility. He’s terrible. Save your time and go elsewhere

Dr. Athiviraham performed my partial knee replacement in Oct, 2018. My last post operative check up was in Sept, 2019. I can’t thank this man enough for the results of my wonderful surgery. He thoroughly explained all of the steps prior to the surgery and ensured I was introduced to all of the operative support team. He met with my wife, Linda, after surgery and explained how the surgery went and how I was doing. Speaking directly to my surgeon was an enormous relief to her. His nurse, Nicole, was extremely responsive on the MyChart website. Thank you, Nicole. I felt exceptionally cared for from consultation through follow up home care. I might add that I was absolutely unable to walk without horrible pain prior to this surgery, now, I’m out walking 3-5 miles a day, enjoying golf and other outdoor activities. Carl Adams

I had a bad experience with this doctor, he did not do a good job with my total knee replacement .. He's not friendly,his nurse Nicole wasn't pleasant either....No follow up calls, especially when he knew I had serious complications and left me with no hope a very unconcern attitude with no resolutions.. When my surgery was over he did not come out and explain to my family whether the surgery was a success or anything. He have a very soft hand shake as though he doesn't want to touch you.... Who does that being a physician, no bed side manners whatsoever. I'm very disappointed overall
