My favorite doçtor of all times. He cares, listens, just so interested in your well being. The only reason I left him was I had to take 5 buses to see him and the COVID pandemic came and I could no longer take the bus. I miss all of them.

Dr. A. Kumar has been my physician for over 15 years. He is a very thoughtful, caring and kind hearted physician. He listens to your concerns. He really cares about his patients. He never makes you feel rushed and he's very thorough and proactive. His staff is very pleasant and very helpful.

I've been his patient for more than 12 years. He is, by far, the best doctor I've ever known (and I worked at UMSM for 35 yrs). He listens (and hears), never makes you feel rushed, is extremely proactive, and only recommends specialists that he KNOWS are A+. He has an extremely kind heart, and he is extremely humble. I would travel 500 miles to be treated by him (or more, if necessary), and I can recommend him without reservation. He is the reason I'm still around (at nearly 78 yrs), having referred me to the gastroenterologist who sent me to Mayo Jax for lifesaving GI surgery (another 5-star doctor). I cannot say enough about this epitomy of goodness. I have a granddaughter with Down Syndrome, and when she first began reading well (~2nd or 3rd grade), she asked if she could read to him. This man took nearly 1/2 hr from his busy practice to listen to her read and then asked her questions about what she'd read. He still asks about her when I see him.

Would recommend Dr Kumar to all! I had eye surgery and have many allergies--dr took great time in discussing medications being used to ease my worries.

Dr. Kumar has been my General Practioner for 4 years and he is one of the best doctors I have ever had. His diagnosis and treatments are always accurate. More importantly, Kumar's integrity and straight forward approach keeps the number of specialist I see in check and I never have to be concerned of being over treated. He has so much integrity that when he left Ostler his seperation agreement prevented him from contacting his patients so I had to track him down on my own. And eventhough he moved 20 miles away from my house and he's no longer convenient as when he was with Ostler, I never considered leaving Kumar for another GP becuase his expertise and care is worth the drive. The other thing that is very important to me is that he and his staff are always respectful of my time and I never wait more than a few minutes for a scheduled appointment.

My first appointment with Dr. Kumar lasted more than 60 minutes; I ended up in the hospital that day and had a complete accurate dx within a week. I also had a second opinion done and the Dr. at Florida Hospital in Orlando complemented his timely accurate dx. Thank You Dr. Kumar
