Dr. Archana Rastogi, MD

Thank God I found a new doctor who cares more about patient than $$$. She used to be good, 10 years ago, but now she just doesn't care. Time to retire?

Dr. Rastogi is a great doctor! I’ve seen her since 2010. I had finical troubles at a time. My whole family goes there. I’ve called to speak to her and her office staff refuse to let her know. Yes I have an outstanding balance, but the office staff has not right to refuse and or not return my calls. HORRIBLE people skills. My kids and mom have had issues with them too. But she is a great doctor.

She has cured me when none others could. In the last 7 years I have seen many Doctors. I Than decided to try Dr. Archana and there you have it. She has made me better.

It’s too bad cause her office staff is awesome. But Dr Rastogi has no respect for her patients. It was my first visit and she made all of these assumptions and started lecturing me on mental health. She’s not a psychiatrist. As a psychology major, I actually thought she was quite ignorant about it. Needless to say, she is definitely not going to be my doctor.

My husband has used Dr Rastogi for many years now. She manages his type 2 diabetes. She also spotted trouble in his blood months before his lung cancer diagnosis. His records are shared with all of his specialist. Her office takes walk ins and is responsive to calls. It is great to have a doctor on the north side of Huntsville.

She was my primary care physician and I was originally quite impressed with her. Over time she became less personable and I noticed quite a turnover in her staff. I was Very disappointed when at my last visit she told me that if I opted not to have a mammogram and colonoscopy on a yearly basis that she would no longer accept me as a patient. Her reason was that she would be penalized by my insurance company, BCBS....In other words, she would make less money. I told her this seemed very unethical, but she stood by her decision and left me having to find a new Primary care physician. At the end of our association, I would say the level of care was very poor. I had a chest x ray to determine if I had pneumonia on my second to last visit. On my last visit, she wanted to repeat the X-ray though the first one showed nothing and I was no longer ill. I had only come in for a prescription refill. Her main motivation seems to be maximizing her profit, sometimes to the detriment of the… patient and the patient’s right to make choices about their healthcare

I have been with Dr. Rastogi for many years. I have always gotten professional care in a friendly enviroment.

Basically, she gave me a WebMD diagnosis. I went to a different doctor, and I was actually tested and examined.

Great Dr. & staff. Dr. Rastogi is very caring, would not go to anyone else. The wait is long sometimes, but is worth it. Thank, You Dr. Rastogi for taking care of me for 10 years.

Terrible, inefficient office. If you want considerate attention, look elsewhere.
