Dr. Arfassa Shiferaw, MD

Dr. Shiferaw has been the primary care doctor for myself and my children for several years now. She is knowledgeble and thorough, she listens to your concerns and does not rush you through your appointment. Even though our appointments with her go quickly, she does not leave without answering all of my questions and concerns. I feel that she cares about the overall health and well-being of her patients as she does not push medication on you or agree to requests for medication without first doing a thorough look into your health history. I find her to be kind, friendly and very professional as is her assistant. One of the best providers I have had, I selfishly hope she never leaves!

I’ve been seeing Dr Shiferaw for a couple of years now and I can say that each visit has been thorough and helpful. She is not warm and fuzzy but she is very friendly, professional and caring. I have never left without feeling that I have had a full and complete visit or that she did not genuinely care for my health or about me as a person. I wholeheartedly recommend her. She is an excellent physician and person. No doctor is perfect, but she is pretty close.
