Arrogant and adversarial .

Very compassionate, understanding, and great at listening to patients and finding a solution for them.

Dr. Katz completely neglected to look at the whole picture of my case/illness and instead insisted that it was all related to a former eating disorder, regardless of the fact the many other doctors did not agree with his evaluation. Months later, and now I am facing a potentially life threatening diagnosis that he missed because he refused to see beyond “former anorexic”. A year of my life is wasted and I am only gotten significantly sicker.

My family member was hospitalized and had Dr. Ari Katz as their hospitalist's at CDH. Poor bedside manner. Maybe has to do with his lack of experience? But to blatantly not care about a critical lab unless a serious issue arises is negligence. A good physician prevents a problem before it happens or tries to lessens a potential problem before it arises. Make sure your loved one has an advocate or you can be there with this novice doc calling the shots.
