I had a 3 pm appointment. On the day of the appointment they called to ask if I could come in early. I was able to rearrange my schedule to accommodate their request. I arrived 10 minutes before the new time. I then had to wait an hour for the procedure. I was told the Doctor went to lunch. I was there for a Thyroid needle biopsy and the entire thing felt rushed. I was inadequately numbed. I expressed my pain and the doctor just kept going when she could have stopped for moments and given further numbing medication. It should not have been this way. I filed a complaint with Sutter and they said it was just fine.

Was kind, explained entire procedure, patient with questions. Aftercare again explained thoroughly with compassion. Had good experience with bedside manor.

Horrible bedside manner. No compassion. Did not wait long enough for lidocaine to take effect. Became aggressive when I asked if she was done she said I need four samples I can stop! Yelled at me when I moved. Did not explain procedure to me and said you had a lot of blood at the site of the biopsy which is normal use ice for an hour. Didn't tell me how it went or if she had enough sample. I felt like a cow going for slaughter
