Dr. Ariadna Papageorge, MD

Came by recommendation. She performed surgery for a deviated septum after I suffered a snowboarding mishap (and couldn't breathe out of my notice at all really). After surgery I was able to breathe out of my nose but still dealt with congestion. At my visits I would just receive some nasal spray and be on my way. After 1-2 years I felt like something was still not right and more than anything I was worried about my (lack of) restful sleep. I was given a home sleep study. After some issue with her office in getting the results of this study- it reported I had severe sleep apnea (score of 44). This seemed unusual but ok. I tried a nasal pillow style\ cpap. Didn't work as my nose was still (mostly) blocked. NO HELP from her office in the whole CPAP process. Fast forward to now (2018). Decided on an oral appliance based on a family recommendation. After several months of using the oral appliance\ I was given another sleep study to check progress. Score returned at 5. Well within range.… Out of curiosity I requested another sleep study without wearing the oral appliance. I had started to record my snoring and it turned out I do not snore AT ALL. This sleep study also returned score of 5. The dentist found this unusual. With some frustration, I decided I need to see another ENT and asked for a recommendation. The ENT I saw immediately was surprised at a score of 44. Did not make any sense to him. He examined my nose with scanning\ scope\ etc and very quickly characterized the surgery I had done as a "D-". And that my nose is almost 95% blocked. And that my primary\ only issue was nasal blockage. Not sleep apnea. Not over-sized tongue, etc. I went through a difficult procedure in getting surgery with Dr Papageorge. And it was botched. And after returning again and again complaining that I could still not breathe- effectively NOTHING was done about it. After years of frustration and money spent I will have another surgery. Very nice woman. But do yourself a favor and try someone else.

If you like to be called back by your doctor and not have to call numerous times to get results, do not come to see Dr. Papageorge. I had to call numerous times and the receptionist actually had to tell me my results. She wasn't really friendly either or seemed like she cared about your comfort/overall health.

Dr. Papageorge has examined me very carefully and explained her fidings with patience.

I paid my first visit to Dr. Papageorge today. She was very nice and friendly. She patiently waited to hear my complaint, did a full ENT examination and even looked over some pictures I took of a lesion that worried me.She spent about 15min with me and that was just enough. I would totally recommend her to friends and family!

There was a snowstorm on Sunday and my surgery was confirmed for Monday 8:30am, arrived at 6:30. Surgery was canceled which happens but EVERY other patient heard from their Doctor or was immediately rescheduled. I NEVER heard from HER and when I called her service to reschedule bc its tough with work, I never heard back. Called the Dr. THREE TIMES and haven't heard back. But she already ran my credit card. She is an AWFUL person, I was supposed to see her male partner, dont settle with Dr. Pappageorge...My family are all doctors and they call back their patients
