Ariel Soffer, MD, FACC, is board certified in cardiovascular disease and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. For the last 10 years, Dr. Soffer has dedicated much of his time to advancing the importance and treatment of venous circulation disorders and varicose veins. He even spends time creating awareness about circulatory issues among cardiologists, and he’s published multiple landmark articles on vein conditions in peer-reviewed medical journals.
Dr. Soffer heads a prestigious venous training program for cardiologists and surgeons and continues to lecture internationally on a variety of circulatory issues. Dr. Soffer graduated with distinction with a medical degree from the University of Miami and completed his residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in the prestigious program at the University of California at Los Angeles. He went on to complete a fellowship in cardiology at USC and is one of only a few cardiologists in Florida to be licensed in Nuclear Cardiology. He is currently an adjunct professor at FIU Medical School and Nova Southeastern medical schools.
One of the first cardiologists to become proficient in laser treatment for vein issues, Dr. Soffer also trains other specialists in mechanical and chemical ablation techniques. At Soffer Health Institute, he offers comprehensive care for poor leg circulation, spider and varicose veins, and restless legs syndrome. Dr. Soffer uses the latest diagnostic technologies and customized treatment plans to optimize vascular function and overall health.
ABC News Miami awarded Dr. Soffer a weekly news segment entitled “Dr. Soffer’s Second Opinion” for over 4 years and 80 episodes. Currently, Dr. Soffer has recently started a medical podcast “SImpleMD” available on YouTube. He also recently became the medical editor of the nationally renowned Vein Magazine.
Had to have an EVLT procedure and Dr. Soffer and his staff could not have been easier to work with. My EVLT was a complete success and now plan to use Dr. Soffer as my Full Time Cardiologist.
