From the first time we met him, he explained everything so we could understand the ins and outs & what to expect during and after the operation. He made my wife feel very comfortable, he even prayed with us. I highly recommend this surgeon, he even called after my wife was finished to inform me the surgery went great. Dr. Spencer is the best surgeon in East Tenneessee. His compassion and expertise is so refreshing. He has saved my husband's life. When you need the best, he is the doctor you can depend on. Thank God we were steered to Dr. Spencer.

Dr. Spencer is an excellent surgeon. His genuine interest in my condition and his caring personality gave me great confidence in his ability. He took the time to thoroughly explain the surgery and answer any questions that I had. The surgery was successful and I was back to normal in no time due to not only his outstanding talents as a surgeon but also his valuable medical advice. I would highly recommend him!

Wonderful Surgeon! Very genuine in his concern. Patient in answering all my questions - and I had plenty. The very intense surgery was successful with none of the problems he said could happen with risk of any surgery.

Dr. Spencer is an excellent surgeon, but it is his compassionate bedside manner that makes him so amazing. He never rushes you, and really goes the extra mile to make sure you are well cared for.
