Hi, my name is Arielle, and I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner serving clients in New York. I specialize in women’s health, perinatal mental health, postpartum depression, anxiety, depression, insomnia and sleep concerns, grief and loss, college and graduate student mental health, ADHD, OCD, PTSD and trauma, seasonal affective disorder (SAD), anger and impulse control issues, binge eating disorder, bipolar disorder, burnout, and stress management. I’ve been in nursing for over 9 years and completed my master’s and psychiatric training at Fairleigh Dickinson University. I’m passionate about destigmatizing mental healthcare, and together with my colleagues at Lavender Psychiatry, I’m on a mission to create a world where feelings are felt, respected, and cared for.

My therapeutic style is characterized by warmth, engagement, and a genuine personal connection. I believe in establishing a strong, collaborative relationship with each client, where we work together to make …informed decisions about their treatment. I chose to be a psych NP because I cannot imagine doing anything else in my life except for helping those who are finding their way and their voice. I always wanted a career in nursing and in healthcare due to my desire and passion of wanting to help those who need it the most.

I have worked with a wide range of clients, including students, parents, professionals from various fields, skilled tradespeople, service industry workers, retail employees, entrepreneurs, artists, and technology experts. Starting treatment can be a scary and intimidating process, I’ve successfully treated many people who are new to psychiatric care.
