Dr. Arif Ahmad, MD

Dr. Ahmad is always so kind. He takes the time to answer any new questions I may have and is always willing to thoroughly explain my test results. I appreciate his honest, straight forward nature and the fact he doesn't sugar coat things. I recommend him to anyone that needs a cardiologist....he's wonderful!

Dr. Ahmad needs to find a different career field. My mother was referred to him due to a recent diagnosis of atrial fibrillation. She told Dr. Ahmad that she did not feel well and was tired all the time. His response: "Well, you're 84 years old...of course you're tired...is that a problem?" When I asked if he thought recent changes to my mother's medication may have caused her to go into Afib, Dr. Ahmad yelled at me that he was "not the one that changed her medicine" and he was "not going to waste his time trying to figure out why it was changed". I then tried to clarify myself as he obviously did not understand what my question was. We left the appointment more confused and anxious over this new health condition than when we arrived. Dr. Ahmad is possibly the most rude, uncaring, misplaced individual I have ever met.

At my recent appointment, Dr was rude, uncommunicative. Did not answer questions, and was in a hurry to leave exam room. He was particularly rude and uncommunicative with attending family member.

I had 1 visit with Dr. Ahmad. No Dr. patient connection at all. Rude Arrogant . No bedside manner what so ever.
