Dr. Arif Mohammad Qazi, MD

Dr Qazi did my last colonoscopy. He was very kind and very thorough. I will be having another one next month. After meeting Dr. Qazi, my husband was satisfied and we scheduled his procedure as well. Dr. Qazi did a more through examination than our family doctor! Sept. 2020

I have always been treated with kindness and care by Dr. Qazi and staff. He never hesitated to put me in the hospital due to my diverticulitis, visited daily and really got upset as the food they had sent me from the hospital canteen included food I was not allowed to eat. He is a kind explained carefully what I could eat and what to avoid. I`ve never had another incident in over three years.

Doctor performs Endoscopy, comes back with issues and does not schedule a follow up, pawns me off on another doctor who also does not do a follow up. Patient is just a number ($$$$$) to this doctor.

Dr. Qazi is a gentle and caring doctor. He explains things carefully and in clear English. While I was in the hospital he was very supportive and I believe his actions resulted in saving my life. At his office wait time is not long staff is always professional and helpful. Office is clean and employees appear happy. mjm

I was the third patient he saw within 30 minutes. He didn't even look up at me, just typed on computer and checked his texts. Said he would set up endoscopy, and he was out of the room. While I realize acid reflux may be normal for people, I still wanted information as to what I needed to do to help it's affects, as well as understanding as to why I was having it. He just rushed me out the door. I have had bad doctors before, but he had the absolute bedside manner I have ever received.

Waited for almost an hour in office to see the doctor for the initial consult appointment; felt rushed during the initial appointment; not questioning medical skills and knowledge, however, I do not know that I'd recommend this doctor to others. In an effort to get a post-procedure report via the doctor's patient portal, was advised by staff that it "doesn't work", even though I received an e-mail that I could view the summary report/clinical information via this patient portal. Pointed that out to office staff but was advised that they "didn't know why that was in the email." Would suggest this link be removed if it is not, in fact, available to patients.

My 93 year old mother came in to Brandon Hospital with internal bleeding. Qazi was assigned to her. He came by her ICU room (didn't step inside) said he was going to do a colonoscopy and left. She did the colon prep and completed it for day for a 9:00 a.m. the next morning. He didn't show up to do the procedure until 3:30 with virtually no communication with the hospital. After the procedure, he showed us 4 pictures, said he couldn't complete because she wasn't cleaned out and would have to repeat it. In two face to faces with him, I think I saw him for a total of 2 minutes maximum with little or no opportunity to ask questions or discuss concerns.

I needed a colonoscopy and my previous doctor had retired so I started seaching for a doctor covered by my humana Ins. There were several to choose from but I went by the reviews of his patients and Dr Qazi had the best reviews. I was not disappointed. Dr Qazi’s front desk staff were very kind and friendly. That’s usually a good indicator of how the doctor is going to be and that’s exactly how Dr Qazi was. Professional but makes u feel at ease. Took time to explain procedures and asked if I had any questions or concerns. Colonoscopy went well and post-op visit was informative as Dr Qazi explained morefacts about the colon and eating the right foods. I would recommend Dr Qazi to anyone who needs a Gastroenterologist.

My Dr sent a referral to Dr Qazi's office,, stating the office would get a hold of me. After two weeks I wondered why I hadn't heard from them. When I called Dr Quazi's office I I was informed that if they get a referral and the patient isn't already their patient, they just delete you. They will not even contact your Dr and let them know they ar not interested. I had NEVER heard of such a practice!!!

He is one of the best Dr's in Brandon. The staff is great and the Dr takes time to do a check up and answer my questions.
