Dr. Arjun Rajendra Majithia, MD

I am a young patient (45yr) and had a incidental finding of cardiac plaque buildup in only one artery. Dr. Majithia did my angiography at Lahey hospital in 2025. While he confirmed the plaque build up during the angiography, he did not proceed with a stent for very good reason. For my age and the fact that I did not have other complications or symptoms and I was doing my angiography as a precaution for diagnosis, was all taken into consideration by him to not stent but to discuss the options with me on potentially doing a CABG process. In his opinion for my case, the CABG process would be a long term solution rather than a stent which could last about 15 years. My multiple second opinions with other cardiologists also confirmed that Dr. Majithia made a patient focused and tailored approach. I very much appreciated his knowledge as an interventional cardiologist. He took the time to explain his rational and even had followup calls with me to explain the diagnosis and the risks of each… option. I highly recommend Dr. Majithia for his patient centric approach and knowledge. While many doctors are all about business only, Dr. Majithia had a personal interest in me as a patient.
