Dr. Arkadiy Shraytman, DO

Saw him after Dr. Rosa passed. Will never go back to High Mountain again. Arrogant, with the bed side manor of Atila The Hun . Rude, impatient, almost impossible to understand.

Never in my life have I felt such a strong need to go out of my way to write a poor review for someone, but this needed to be done. I visited Dr. Shraytman yesterday due to my concern about 2 serious allergic reactions I had. I came into the appointment ready with my discharge papers from the hospital, personal notes that recorded what I had eaten that day, my symptoms for both reaction and their severity. Unfortunately Dr. Shraytman did not want to hear a word I said. He continuously asked me the same questions "Well what did you eat that was new?" (I'm trying to tell you nothing! That's why I'm here!) He would NOT wait for a response and would simply talk over me. Multiple times he questioned my answers, doubting my honesty: "Are you SURE you're not on contraceptives?" (I think I would know), "Are you SURE you didn't eat fish?" (Well considering I hate fish, NO). He then proceeded to belittle me after I answered his question as to whether or not I have any stomach problems. My… response was "Yes, I feel with chronic constipation" in which he replied very rigidly "Well what is THAT?". Surprised I tried to explain that I've struggled with constipation problems my whole life in which he arrogantly said "What, have you NEVER seen a doctor before?". This was extremely belittling to have to explain myself and a condition that I've been struggling with for my whole life. As the appointment continued he decided to prescribe me taking Benadryl twice daily for 2 weeks. If he had listened to me he would know that I am not currently experiencing any symptoms and that taking Benadryl like that is COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. Not once did he ask me what I would like to get out of the appointment and treated me like an ignorant child. I wanted to get help go identify what is the cause of these serious allergic reactions so that I can avoid whatever it is that has been triggering me. I refuse to take medication for no good reason, especially if its being suggested by a doctor who is not even listening to my symptoms. Please please do yourself a favor and don't go to Dr. Shraytman. You will most likely leave defeated and upset like me.
