Dr. Arkady Michailovi Massen, MD

Until a few months algo everything was great. Pains in check. I’m of the opinion if it’s not broke don’t fix. Called for pain medication refill and nurse advised doctor denied. I went through the motions doing as requested. It was epic fail. I’d like to thank Dr. Massen for having my pains return with a vengeance and compounded by additional pains. See, it was a delicate balance and now I’ve reverted to where I was over 5 years ago. And to his nurse, great job in ignoring my pain. Time for a new doctor I guess. The sad part is I’ll be saying goodbye to a great receptionist who listened and respected patients.

I got a new insurance company and I chose Dr. Massen as my primary physician, cense it's a new insurance I asked if I had a co pay, the girl checked and said until I meet my deductible it will be $104 for a visit, I asked if she can double check please, I called MY insurance company and the representative said that it's different depends on a doctor and with contract we have with Dr. Massen if its $104 for a visit you are only responsible for $22. When I called back and to Gaby who I spoke with that my insurance said it's only $22 based on the contract, she said no it's not and asked if the representative how deductibles work, so she was trying to say that she knows better the a person from my insurance staring at the computer screen with Dr. Massens name dosn't know. And she keeps insisting I was wrong, basically sayin you are stupid and i'm right, so basically insulting me like i'm an idiot. Horrible receptionist, highly don,t recommend this office.

I have known Dr Masson for over 10 years and my family is his patient. . His fund of knowledge, ethics and manner is superb. Very conscientious and responsible for patient's well being. For ever if I get any medical problems he will be the only one that I can trust.

Doctor Massen is an excellent doctor. He has been my doctor for nearly a decade. I recommend him most highly. Doctor Massen's medical skill, knowledge, ability to accurately diagnose, far exceeds what I have experienced or would expect to experience from a physician. Doctor Massen always takes the time to listen to the patient, and clearly explain what is going on and what to expect health wise. He IS prompt, makes you feel very comfortable being his patient and has an excellent sense of humor. His breadth of experience is also outstanding. He is the best doctor I have ever had.

A truly friendly Family Doctor, Dr Massen personalizes healthcare - he engages in conversation, explains your situation and options in language you understand, not the usual medical jargon. He goes way beyond the regular call of duty in so many ways...- When you need a specialist, he won't just give you a referral, will try to find you the right doc both in terms of qualifications and personality. - He will actually pick up the phone and discuss your case with the specialist, and also acts like "Info central", reminding the specialist of circumstances they may have missed. - Insurance does not pay for your meds? Most doctors will just switch you to whatever is accepted by insurance: Dr Massen and his stuff will work on getting the proper meds authorized. - He is accessible electronically, responds to emails fast, often even on weekends. In fact a few times he skyped me inquiring about my Dad's condition.- Medication renewals all done by email, too.In short, he is absolutely the… best family physician we've had for a long while.
