Dr. Arlen Dwight Denny, MD

Received a large, deep bite on my lower left cheek at age 11. Dr. Denny was like an angel that came into my life- one of those people that I will just never, ever forget as long as I live. He is truly a special person, just not many of his character walking around on the planet. He was so kind, gentle, humorous, reasssuring. He had this tremendous way of communicating to my level at 11 years of age that made me understand exactly what he was going to do to try and help me. I could tell, although I was young, that this man truly just wanted the best outcome for me and that he wanted to use his special skill set to help me get there. After my reconstructive surgery from Dr. Denny in which some of the girth (if you will) of the original scar tissue was removed, I can honestly say I am at a place today in which my large facial scar does not even affect me in the slightest. The way Dr. Denny was able to thin out the appearance of my scar is nothing short of magic. I am almost 30 years old… now and with the life experience I have I can now say I was truly blessed to be worked on by Dr. Denny. If you or someone you love is going through a similar experience, PLEASE do yourself a favor and contact him. I can only attest to his work and character from when I was a child, but something tells me he probably hasn’t changed much. Just an exceptional, extraordinary, larger than life type figure. Truly.

We cannot say enough about Dr. Denny or his staff. He always has plenty of time for us and for our son. He makes sure he understands everything and he treats his questions as seriously as he does ours.

Our son was adopted from China at the age of 5. He had been diagnosed with cleft lip and palate. China had tried to repair. Dr. Denny not only did a wonderful job of repairing the functional aspects (the cleft palate fistula closure, etc.), but also the cosmetic results are outstanding. Our son is now ll and looks wonderful. Thank you Dr. Denny!

When our daughter was diagnosed with Craniosynostosis at 2 weeks old, we were obviously confused, scared, anxious, etc... Our pediatrician referred us to Dr. Denny and he was able to quickly diagnose our daughter. Early detection is so important in children with cranio! Throughout her surgeries, he answered all of our questions and helped us work through our fears. He never makes us feel like he is in a hurry. He is extremely professional. We were impressed at how much the hospital staff respects him and how specific he is with instructions to them on post-op care with patients in the hospital. Our daughter is now 5 and we see him for regular follow-ups. We can't thank him enough.

We were terrified when our daughter was born with a birth defect. After learning she had Pierre Robin sequence, we still had many questions. Dr Denny patiently explained the disorder and the plan for correction. Our daughter has now had two surgeries performed by Dr Denny with fabulous results. She is a healthy, normal baby now thanks to his expertise.
