He launched his career from a superlative education. Dr. Torbati received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. (D.D.S) at the University of Southern California as one of the top in his class a well as in the top 2 percent in the national dental board. Thereafter, Dr. Torati was accepted with full scholarship to a full time post graduate Prosthodontics and implant program at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Completing this program in 1992, Dr. Torbati returned to USC entering the Advanced Prosthodontics program.
Following this graduation , Dr Torbati was asked to teach in the residency program at USC; Where he is still active an holds the position of Associate clinical Professor of Advanced Prosthodontics, as well as one of the candidates considered for the position of the Director of the Advanced Prosthodontics Residency at USC. Dr. Torbati has been instrumental in educating many of the leading prosthodontists practicing in Southern California, the United States, France, Italy, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and South Korea)
In 1997, Dr. Torbati completed the requirement of the American Board of Prosthodotics and earned the Diplomat of American Board of Prosthodontics with highest honors. Of the over 20,000 dentists in Califirnia, only 200 dentists have earned this honor, placing Dr. Torbato's professional credentials inthe top 1% of California dentists.
