Dr. Armand Friedel, MD

He’s so funny and he just puts you at ease. Went in feeling nervous came out with so much assurance and positive energy. He is so great and he explained everything very clearly.

An awful experience! As a new patient, I received no hello, no nice to meet you but rather a “burned out” attitude. When speaking to me he did use some language that was unprofessional. He also refused to do a PAP test until I insisted. Then when he touched my neck he told me he felt a thyroid nodule but did not explain anything. I found this unnerving & insensitive since I am a breast cancer survivor. He merely said to check it out & then left the room! I found Dr Friedel’s behavior to be cold, uncaring, insensitive & somewhat sadistic... I will not be going back.

Have been going to Dr. Friedel for about 30 years. He is GREAT.

Great doctor, Really listens to you and spends a lot of time with you! Very thorough with health history and exams. He goes beyond to make you feel comfortable. Caring and great sense of humor. Highly recommend Only wish I found him earlier. Hope he doesn't ever retire!

Dr. Friedel is a very caring, attentive doctor who spends a lot of time with me. He makes me feel very at ease in what might usually be a stressful appointment. He imparts his (sometimes humorous) philosophy, which makes the visit much easier to bear. Dr. Friedel calls personally for any and all diagnostic testing I might have. The doctor's staff is also very caring and professional.

I feel like I saw a different doctor than the one described in most of the reviews here. He does not have a warm manner and I am surprised that he picked obstetrics as his specialty because he obviously looks down on women. Find another doctor who is caring and compassionate and stay away from Dr. Armand Friedel.

You should know that I am a physician myself and I could only hope to be a fraction of the kind of physician Dr Friedel is. I have NEVER written a review on line until this. Dr Friedel saved my child's life and if it wasn't for him, I probably would never have had the two incredible children I have today. Dr. Friedel is gentle, patient, attentive, kind, humble, intuitive and brilliant. He is the last of the great docs left as far as I am concerned. The day he retires will be a very sad day for so many of us. He is the "doctor's doctor" and he is one in a billion. I owe this man everything and trust him completely.

I have known Dr. Friedel for 35 years. I worked with him when he was a resident, and he impressed me then as a compassionate, caring individual.I was an OB/GYN R.N and worked closely with him. He has been my OB/GYN since he went into private practice, and I have referred friends also. I trust his judgement and have always placed my and my family's health in his hands.

Dr. Friedel was wonderful. He eased my fears during my first pregnancy and was there for every step of the way. He was really the type of doctor I needed. He calmed my nerves yet kept me on track and made my pregnancy worry free. I really cant say enough good things about him. He is a little old school but that is what I loved about him. He really is a GREAT doctor.
