Dr. Armand Gaspar Rostamian, MD

Armand Rostamian was to perform a simple 5 min. (TEE) on my brother. Instead, he ended up in the ER & was admitted to the ICU w/ a torn esophagus, which caused his lung to collapse & led to a fungal infection in his lung cavity. He is currently experiencing cardiac & septic shock, and at risk of losing his 16-year-old transplanted kidney. After 9 days at Adventist, we managed to transfer him to Cedars, praying they can save his life. Medical research shows that esophageal tears during (TEE) are extremely rare, occurring in only 0.03%–0.1% of cases. It will cause severe infection & death. To put this into perspective, out of 10,000 patients undergoing (TEE), only 3 would be expected this complication. We discovered another family publicly shared on several sites that their mother passed away from complication following the exact same (TEE) procedure performed by this same physician. We’re hoping Medical Board will launch a serious investigation before another person’s life is spared.

Horrible experience he tore my moms esophagus during a procedure because he pushed a camera down knowing he was having complications and should have stopped not pushed down she suffered one month then passed away we are devastated this doctor took my moms life

Dr. Rostamian knows his medicine and took his time to educate me about my condition. I am so happy to have found him because he has the compassion, bedside manners, and knowledge to keep me healthy!
