Great Doctor, but terrible office staff. Front office rude and unhelpful.

Overall I am very please with the outcome. This is my 3rd sinus surgery in my lifetime, and it finally seems like I have found someone who knows what they are doing. I’m doing allergy drops along with this surgery, so hopefully I can live a healthy long life with better breathing in my future. I would recommend going here to see Dr Alavi if you have a complicated issue. He is skilled and truly knows his craft.

I was suffering from sinus headache, lack of proper breathing, and all sinus problems for several years, I had lost hope that I can be treated. I found Dr. Alavi extremely knowledgeable, with a high level of science, and extensive surgical training. All my sinus problems are gone now, I can't believe it. Very caring and understanding office people, nice office and a clinic -like setup. If you have an ENT problem, no need to look anywhere else.

If you ever need an expert physician/surgeon for ENT problems, Dr. Alavi is the best. My sinus problems were chronic, I thought it never get resolved until I walked into Dr. Alavi's office. He is the best, deeply caring, expert in what he does, and has the kind people in his offices.

Dr. Alavi is fantastic actually. I’d been going to another ent for a few years without them even realizing what my problem was, and Dr Alavi took a quick cat-scan of my head and found one side dangerously infected and swollen. He got me on some antibiotics quickly and then did a ballooning of the sinus passages to open them up and allow me to breathe easier. Aside from his excellence as a doctor, he is actually a very cool guy, and never spoke like he was any different from you or I. Another thing that he understands is how painful infected sinuses are, and his super steady hands never slipped or caused me any pain. His staff is well versed and extremely polite. I’m very grateful to have found Dr Alavi, so I don’t have to return to the other group I had been seeing- also I believe he is opening an office in Camarillo, which will be fantastic for me and my family!

Dr. Alavi, Olga, Victor, Tri, and the entire staff are professional, kind, and supportive. The office assisted me with sinus issues I have been having all of my life which impacted my ears, nose, and throat. Initially after the procedure, I can notice the improvement in breathing. I have been very happy and impressed with the practice and highly recommend them..

I went to Dr Alavi because my 82 pound yellow Lab broke my nose while playing ball. I bent down to grab her ball and she, being the pup she is, jumped up. Needless to say I needed help. Not only were my airways collapsed, but I was getting headaches, and snoring at night with interrupted sleep due to having little to no airways. Dr Alavi opened up & repaired the airways, and repaired my sinuses that gave me problems for years with runny nose & sinus infections. His manner is calm, his accent is so elegant you just want to hear him talk. Dr Alavi is knowledgeable & answers all your questions. I felt comfortable & I can breathe beautifully with no snoring & get a full nights sleep. He performed an amazing repair. Thank you Dr. Alavi.

Going to see Dr. Alavi was the best medical decision I've ever made. I had a deviated septum causing me breathing problems and constant sinus infections. Dr. Alavi fixed it in a 1 hour procedure right in his office. I can breathe again and have never been happier. I did my research on him prior to seeing him and whoever said in an earlier review that he wasn't board certified in plastics or otolaryngology was absolutely wrong. Go see him. He's thorough, he's patient, he listens and his bedside manner is extraordinary compared to other doctors I've seen. His staff absolutely knows what they're doing and it was a pleasure working with them through this whole process.
