Great surgeon, very easy to talk to. Spends time on initial consult and explains procedure very well. Took his time to go over the strategy pre-op and executed with better than expected results. Follow-up appointment post-surgery was terrific, answered all my questions and concerns and explained recovery process. Minimally invasive procedures are his forte, he's truly a skilled and gifted surgeon who also excels in open abdominal procedures. I'm so glad I was provided his information by my ob/gyn.

Dr. Advincula is amazing as usual,. He always goes about and beyond. He has done two very successful surgeries in the past. I see some of the comments on here and I will say be very careful about judging surgeons based on the performance of the support team. He is a surgeon in high demand because of his success rate and his kindness. I did tremendous research to find him. I found out from DaVinci he was the most experienced and best surgeon. I had to wait almost 6 months to get in the first time. Patience is needed when you want the best. He is that good. Once I was a patient, there was never a wait because he would make his schedule work for me. I was nice to him, he was nice to me. This was my experience from 2016 to current. He changes lives. I don't think he is aware of how many lives he has saved. Both mentally and physically. I have her stories of him saving fertility for women and they went on to have children. He help women will severe medical complications. Dr. Advincula… support team always on point and caring which is important. I don't see the same level of commitment in other departments. I will always refer and I already do.

When I found out I had a massive fibroid that needed removal this summer, I was terrified. I never had surgery before and all signs pointed to an abdominal surgery (longer recovery). My OBGYN recommended a list of surgeons and Dr A stood out to me, particularly because of his specialty in minimally invasive procedures. I was able to get an appointment and had my surgery just yesterday. I am amazed at how good I feel! No pain whatsoever, even the incisions are so small. Dr Advincula is simply the best there is.

Because of the size and location of my fibroids, it was necessary for me to have an open abdominal myomectomy. I was very distressed going into the procedure because I understood that the recovery would be pretty brutal. Dr. Advincula and Dr Chetna Arora reassured me that they would use a vertical incision which would facilitate easier recovery time. And they were right. I had 8 fibroids removed, three of which were quite large. I was able to walk immediately following the procedure. I left the hospital after 1 night. Within a week I was walking 2-3 miles each day. I believe Dr Advincula's skill as a surgeon accelerated my recovery and minimized my pain. I would STRONGLY recommend him. A humble genius, completely calm, reassuring. Thank you Dr. Advincula!

I spent years suffering from endometrial hyperplasia. No one would do surgery. After cardiac issues developed due to severe anemia, I went to Dr. Advincula. He reviewed all options with me, but I insisted he do a hysterectomy and he agreed that was the best of all options. It was a very easy surgery, for me, with a wonderful team of doctors with him. I'm allergic to adhesives, so no tapes for me. They used glue. Internal stitches dissolved. Minimal scarring. I completely got my life back! I couldn't go anywhere without a bathroom nearby, and was in there every hour. What a pleasure to go to a show or commute to work and not stress and be afraid I'm going to ruin my clothes. Cardiac issues improved and quality of life fully restored. I should've done this 5 years earlier.

I had surgery done a little over a year ago to remove 4 fibroids. The cons: When I arrived for my consultation, I ended up waiting almost two hours before I was called into the exam room (the only reason I waited so long is because of the great recommendation that my cousin gave me). In the exam room I waited another 20 minutes before a different doctor came in to greet me. I guess she saw the look on my face and assured me that Dr. Advincula would be in with me but because of the volume of patients waiting for him, she wanted to get the process started with me. I can say that while I walked to the exam room I saw Dr. Advincula literally running down the hallway to another exam room. The pros: The female doctor that I spoke to was lovely. She calmed me down and documented my medical history. 15 mins later Dr. Advincula came in and we discussed the plan for my surgery. Once the actual exam started, his assistant (female) came into the room. There was the female doctor,… the assistant and Dr. Advincula in the room when the physical exam began. Also, although I waited for what seemed like an eternity, once I spoke to Dr. Advincula I felt at ease. I did not feel rushed at all. Fast forward to surgery day, everything went smoothly (although I was VERY late). Dr. Advincula once again calmed me. He has this way of bringing you down from level 10 to level 1. A year later I am feeling great with no complications. I am glad that I waited to see him and will recommend him to all of my family and friends.

Dr.A is the absolute best! I had a huge 20 pound fibroid that he removed and it came out in one piece and he did such a great job. His team and staff everyone made me feel so comfortable. Many blessings to Dr. A HE CHANGED MY LIFE

Had a laproscopic myomectomy- had a smooth recovery and I'm pleased with the result. Dr. Advincula is a lovely man and put me at ease and took time to explain the procedure.

I had large submucosal 12cm fibroid in my uterine wall. Dr.Advincula performed laparoscopic surgery to remove the fibroid. A year after the surgery I got pregnant and successfully delivered little baby boy. Dr.Advincula's office is very clean and the doctor is very well mannered and punctual. My surgery lasted 5 hours. During surgery Dr.Advincula carefully removed my fibroid so not to penetrate the uterine lining. The fibroid was extracted through the belly button. My scars are so small you can't see them.
