Terse, and uninterested in my condition. No communication, and reluctance to answer any questions. Rude, rushed, and disregard for my well being. Not surprised the surgery both failed, and left me with an internal injury.

My husband died within 10 months after Dr. Bullock removed his bladder. He had sent us to an on-site oncologist, Bruce Roth, for possible adjuvant chemotherapy. I assumed Bullock had sent my husbands records but when we got in the oncologist's office he ask us what Bullock had said after the surgery. I ask, "Didn't you read his report"? He was also very uncaring and arrogant and said he couldn't guarantee chemo would prolong my husbands life. I now realize the cancer was spreading. We went to other oncologists (4) to try to get help but no one could. There is NO cancer team at Siteman Cancer Center. My husband died a long, slow painful death at home with hospice. I've been grieving for 8 months now. My husband, Joe, was a better man than either of these two will ever be.

I was under the care of a urologist on the faculty at Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University (why I mention this will become apparent below) for several years for low testosterone. Upon moving to St. Louis, I contacted Washington University School of Medicine and was referred to Dr. Bullock. When I contacted his office, I explained my condition and informed them of the treatment I had been receiving. They assured me that Dr. Bullock would be happy to see and treat me. The wait for an appointment was 8 weeks, but I was content to wait, because I thought anyone referred by Wash U would be an excellent physician. During that time, I arranged for my medical records to be sent and confirmed with Dr. Bullock's office that he had received them. His staff was polite and professional. Dr. Bullock was rude and arrogant. Upon entering the exam room, he informed me that he didn't receive my records and that they wouldn't have helped him anyway. He preceded to give me a lecture… about how responsible urologists do not treat low testosterone, and that I should see an endocrinologist. He gave me the names of two endocrinologists (he said he referred low testosterone patients to these two doctors on a regular basis). I contacted both of them. One only sees cancer patients and the other only sees patients over 65. I don't have cancer and I'll have to live more than 2 more decades to become 65. He then went on to say that my previous urologist was obviously not well trained (see above) and that I had wasted his time and kept him from seeing patients he could really help. I asked why his office staff said that he treated patients with my condition. He didn't answer. Instead, he asked me how they would know. He then got up and walked out of the office saying that if I ever needed urological care that I should come back and see him. Upon calling other doctors, I have had it confirmed to me that a great number of well trained urologists treat low testosterone. This guy is a jerk. You can do better.

Dr Bullock performed bladder surgery on me in 2010 to repair a diverticulum in my bladder. I develpoed a bulge in the incision area within 3 months of the surgery. In a follow up visit to Dr Bullock he denied that the bulge was do to the surgery and claimed it was separation of the stomach muscles similar to that experienced by women after childbirth.Several doctors have examined me and concluded that I have a hernia in the area of the incision made by Dr Bullock. It appears that he did not use a mesh to support the muscles which would have prevented the development of the hernia.I now am forced to have additional surgery to repair the hernia from Dr. Bullock's surgery. The additional surgery is quite involved and will cause me to suffer pain and a long period of convalescence.

I'm sure it could work for some, but I found him unprofessional and a bit insensitive.
