Dr. Arnold Chusid, MD

This man is incredible. He's tough, yes, but I don't need another mommy for my kids I need the very best medical practitioner there is. This is it. He's no nonsense, yes. No hand holding, no. But he's amazing with his diagnoses, he makes himself available if you need him bc he DOES care about the kids, and he will stay on top of your child's issue until they are healthy. He is exactly what you should want in a pediatrician and I hope he never retires!!!! Don't expect him to repeat himself, don't expect him to give you the answer YOU want and don't expect him to coddle your kids, and you'll get the best medicine there is to be had, hands down. Toughen up Mom and Dad!!!!

Dr. Chusid has been caring for my children for 21 years. Knowing they are in such capable medical hands has been such a blessing! Thank you Dr. Chusid

Arnie can fool you into thinking he cares about your child, but don't be fooled. If he has other plans or god forbid it's race day you will see a different person. He has no patience, will tug at your child and wven speak nasty telling a child to "Shut up" i know tjis from personal experience with him a Ask staff from other offices how they have heard him when he loses his temper with children and parents. Don't be fooled

He is selfish and moody. He won't provide advice if he isn't getting paid.

Everything is perfect with doctor, but they don't have appointment reminder call set up. In this world people like me are so spoiled to this facility.

Best Doctor on LI.. I travel 45 mins to see him, if I had to travel another 45mins you bet it's worth every gallon of gas. My 17 and 13 year old boys adore him!!

He is one of a kind for certain. He is a little grumpy :), your normal man ( lol) BUT and that a big BUT, an excellent doctor. He should really be on a board of some amazing medical research because he is that good. He knows what is wrong with the child as soon as he sees them and listens to what the kids have to say. You want flowers , he is not the doctor but if you want a doctor who knows his patience and his stuff he is your guy.

Been using Dr. Arnie for 8 years. Great with kids, better with parents, knowledgeable in every aspect of pediatric care. He goes above and beyond when a child is being seen by other health care professionals to coordinate care. Waiting room is filled with bits of wisdom plastered all over the walls; examining rooms are colorfully decorated with current cartoon favorites, not Cinderella and Snow White. Dr. Chusid is down to earth (he wears blue jeans and a tee shirt), talks directly to the kids, and is an extremely caring pediatrician who seems to remember everything about each of his patients, and everything there is to know about anything that might come up, no matter how obscure the disease. There is no one better than this guy anywhere!!!
