Dr. Arnold Manfred Herskovic, MD

Dr. Arnold Manfred Herskovic and the glorified receptionist Gene Brusilovsky are unfit to practice. They verbally reassured me that my in-network insurance covered everything then later sent me a surprising bill for a simple doctor’s visit, which included basic preventive care. I asked them for an explanation as to why the bill came out to be high. With no explanation, the insulted doctor hung up the phone after saying that he has been in practice for 21 years. Dr. Herskovic’s office, located on 2958 W Devon Ave, Chicago, IL 60659, looked like a convenience store without the convenience. He had a bundle of leaky celeries on top of a patient chair. His drawers had cans of tuna and sardine. His wall-mounted devices didn’t work so we had to move to another room. I didn't know whether to shop for my groceries or call the health inspection. There was absolutely no transparency with Dr. Herskovic. They are unprofessional and stubborn. They still haven’t given me an explanation. A couple… months later, I followed up with a claim that Dr. Herskovic filed. I was surprised to see that he not only added additional fee for an in-person visit, but also claimed the service as out-of-network. Prior to making the appointment, Gene has confirmed that my insurance was in-network, which is the only reason why I have agreed to see them in the first place. After hours long investigation and conversation, I am still trying to have them correct the claim.
