Dr. Arnold Amoguis Lim, MD

I see Dr. Lim almost every 6 months for a Synvisc-one Injection. I actually look forward to it! It helps me tremendously. Dr. Lim is a awesome and explains everything in great detail. He always has an answer for me.

Dr. Lim knew exactly what my problem was by reading the results of the blood tests. The diagnosis was Polymyalgia Rheumatic which I had never heard of. Prescribed a Steroid program which cleared up my pain immediately. I would recommend Dr. to everyone. He is Marvelous!! So happy I am being treated by him. Catherine Werle

After seeing 4 previous Rhumatoid doctors- he was finally able to help me with my RA and Fibromyalgia. He's compassionate, caring and very concerned about his patients well being. I highly recommend him

Dr. Lim is truly an exceptional human being, with the emphasis on human and empathy. Compared to my previous 2 doctors who failed to diagnose and treat my now confirmed RA, and really just seem to discount my symptom and descriptions. I fall into a difficult to diagnose category-the 10% of the RA population with a positive RA factor, but minus the other standard makers. Also, I am fortunate that I do not have to severly disfiguring type. I guess in the other docs'defense. I don't present with classic symptoms, I have considerable flexibility, etc. But, I've also been doing yoga for 28 years and have a high pain tolerance. That does not mean that I" not without chronic pain that I deal with or that I have not had terrific erosion at the joints necessitating toe surgery last fall. Can't help but wonder, if that and other damage could have been slowed had I been started on RA drugs way back then. The lessen is, keep looking until you find someone who cares and knows as much as Dr.… Lim. I'd mentioned the crookedness my family had noticed, and the discomfort caused by it, to the other docs, but was ignored. Quite honestly, it felt like they thought I was whining. I waited until the foot surgeon told be that I needed to go back to a rheumy, because what he saw was indicative of more than osteoarthritis changes. Dr. Lim ordered back therapy, which has improved my back immensely.Dr. Lim smiles and laughs-so refreshing-and never makes one feel you're taking too much time or that questions are a bother or stupid. His nurse, Beatrice is the same. I know this is lengthy, but I feel the difference in Dr. Lim and the other docs I saw is so dramatic, that I had to explain. I am so happy to have found him and to be on the right path now.

What a refreshing change. A rheumatologist who truly listened,checked everything and was not dismissive. He finally diagnosed RA, which I have most likely had for 10-15 years, but was not treated or diagnosed by 2 docs I saw in the past. Because of no treatment in past, much damage has been done. Feel like I am on the correct path now.
