Dr. Arnold Fernandez Negrin, MD

Staff very accusatory. Never received a bill and basically called me a liar. Get past the front desk and you’ll be seen by a very smart, compassionate man!

This office charged for 2 visits that did not happen. One of these two visits was the phone call I made to schedule an appointment. The office not only charged me for the visit (the phone call to schedule an appointment) but also claimed to have called in a schedule ii stimulant with me having not spoken to a provider whatsoever during this call. The second charge was for the visit I scheduled. After long wait times, I asked to reschedule the appointment. When I asked to reschedule a nurse came out and brought me back. when I got back the only thing I discussed was that I was having side effects from the medication and i didn't think the short amount of time that I would be seen for would warrant a proper work-up for my concerns. The nurse agreed and even insisted that I should have set the appointment with my PCP to address my concerns with circulation. I confirmed we had not had a medical appointment. she stated that no, I would not be charged or billed as I was not seen… and was free to reschedule. I asked again to confirm and she once again stated I would not be billed for this visit. When i called to review the billing error, the office insisted there was medical notes for the phone call i made ***to schedule the appointment*** where i was seen by a RN and also by Dr. Negrin (who once again called in a schedule II stimulant) for it when I did not speak with him whatsoever on this date. I recognize it could be easy to confuse who I'm talking to on a phone call, but I didn't speak with a male (or a provider of any sort) whatsoever on this call. If you've had similar issues keep in mind there are boards (like the insurance commissioner and the state medical board) that review such occurrences.

I have been with him for 15 years. He basically saved my life until this year when he destroyed it in a matter of minutes. He no longer puts his patients health above politics. He has become non caring and all about money no matter who it hurts.

The dr is ok but clear your schedule because you will be spending over 2 hours in the waiting room. The staff is not courteous and unorganized. I was told by the nurse, when I was finally called back, that she had no idea that I was out there!!i will be finding another dr. I would suggest that you keep looking...

As some of the comments state, the wait times used to be ridiculous. However, he recently hired a nurse practitioner to his practice and also moved to a new office space, both of which have sped up workflow quite a bit. His nurse, Lindsay, is especially nice, although I do wish that more time could be spent on talking through some things instead of just focusing mostly on medication.

Please do your research before you make an appointment with Dr. Negrin. I had the worst experience with him and his staff today about a deductible that I knew nothing about because Dr. Negrin staff was sending my bill to unknown address. Dr. Negrin refused to see me because I couldn't pay a bill I never knew nothing about at the schedule appointment. I asked the staff why I'm being hold responsible for a mixed up on an address not to mention that Dr. Negrin office verified my insurance and made an copy of my drivers license with my correct address on it. I consistently repeated myself to Dr. Negrin's staff about their mixed up on my address but was handed an month prescription by one of his nurse practitioners and was told to pay the bill and call back for an appointment in a unprofessional manner. It made me sick to my stomach to be treated with no respect from Dr. Negrin and his staff.

Dr. Negrin has saved me from the person I hated being for a year now. I thank you very much.

I have found this office and doctor to be most unprofessional. The wait time is always 2-3 hours with no apology. We have sought another doctor because of this.

Amazing Doctor has truly helped me make a big change in my life!!!!

Waited along with about 10 other people in the waiting room for over 3 hours. Completely unorganized.
