Dr. Arnold Jay Pollak, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Pollak's for two years. When I was referred to him through the Swedish referral system, I was experiencing chest pain and sinus tachycardia five days a week. My previous cardiologist did not try to work with me, nor did he even know that I had a partially blocked cartoid artery ... he didn't care. I sought a second opinion and now two years later the 57 percent blockage has reversed itself to less than 30 percent, my cholesteral is down to 141 (from 181), my good HDL is up to 65 (from 48), my bad LDL is down to 67 (from 115) and my triglycerides are down to 45 (from 89)!! I have listened to Dr. Pollak, followed the lower-fat/cholesteral and higher fiber diet, drink more water, exercise for an hour 4-5 days a week, take the medicines as directed including 1,500mg of Niacin and am feeling the best I have in several years. Dr. Pollak took the time to listen to me and figure out the cause of the sinus tachycardia, as well as heard a disruption in blood flood in… the cartoid artery to order the scan. I now have restored confidence in my body, thanks to the wonderful care and knowledge of Dr. Pollak. His staff is very caring and kind. Never had I experienced more than a five minute wait for my appointments. I feel very fortunate to be a patient of Dr. Pollak's and would highly recommend him. :)
