Dr. Arnold Ira Snitz, MD

my kids have gone to Dr. Snitz for a couple of years and now I am fed up as well! I am tired of being considered a bad parent that I dont feed my picky child and apparently the fact that I am a small build but my husband is not. Matter of fact I was 4.5mths pregnant with my second child and they didnt know until I delivered, but yet they are so observant. My kids are well on track with their growth and development but to him if you do not follow his advice you are WRONG!! I can attest to wanting to leave there in tears bc of his harsh comments and demeanor. I am very educated and what I do not know I do my research, and when I did some and brought it to him he dismissed it. I am sorry that I have subjected my children to him on the advice of another, my mistake but it will never happen again. Please take your children elsewhere!!

He was my doctor when i was first born then i went to a new doctor but eventually went back to him. Recently i have found a new doctor because Dr. Snitz is not caring and believes he can talk to his patients how ever he wants to. I remember EVERY time i left his office i would be in tears! He also told me that I was going to die because of my weight.

Dr. Snitz has been my pediatrician for years, and because i do not pay for my own healthcare i am unable to use another doctor. He has cost my family thousands of dollars in unnecessary medical bills, because he DOES NOT LISTEN TO PATIENTS. around a year ago i began having ovarian pain, due to what i now know is an extremely common condition in girls my age. Snitz disregarded my assertion that the pain was in my ovaries, telling me it was in my intestine or stomach. he told me it could not be in my ovaries, since girls my age "DON'T HAVE PROBLEMS THERE" (a complete lie, my condition is most common in girls MY AGE) I detailed my entire range of symptoms, and were he competent professional, it would have set off red flags to my specific condition as the symptoms are unique. furthermore, the medication needed to treat it was simple hormonal birth control, WHICH I NEEDED A PRESCRIPTION FOR ANYWAY. i suffered in pain for a year, my condition untreated although i went to the doctor… repeatedly. finally, i ended up having to be hospitalized and needing two MRI scans because of my condition. had it been diagnosed and treated, i would not have had to suffer or pay off huge bills. HE REFUSES TO LISTEN TO PATIENTS AND WILL DISAGREE FOR THE SAKE OF DISAGREEMENT. he lords prescriptions over patients and enjoys the powertrip. he is smarmy, sarcastic and rude. he also will not take the initiative to research problems and does not care about patient suffering. he enjoys embarrassing patients. he is highly unpleasant as a person and a terrible doctor. he has negatively affected my financial status and well being. my advice: stay away
