She’s an amazing doctor. Love her work , very inspirational too.

If I could give her a zero I would. She was filling in for my son's Dr. and started Jarvis and Shepard-Price (electro- shock treatments) commitment proceedings without discussing it with my son or me. She did this on a Friday before leaving for the weekend. I found out when the county called me. I was blind-sided. I complained to the nurse manager and Muhammad called me. She tried to shame me into compliance. Although my son had signed a release and I had been in contact with the nurses daily and my son's doctor regularly, she told me she didn't think she needed to discuss the treatment plan or commitment proceedings with me. When I questioned her about my son's condition she was unaware of what I was talking about. On the proposed commitment order she wanted to change every medication he was on including trying to get a court order for a medication listed as an allergy. I don't think she read his chart. I don't think she put any thought into his treatment plan. She made no… effort to contact me until I complained to the nurse manager. This the worst doctor experience I have ever had. She treats some of the most vulnerable people in the hospital. (BTW - when his regular doctor returned my son was put back on his treatment plan and was able to come home in a few days without electro-shock treatment)

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. First, she ordered a bunch of unnecessary tests- even went to a new doctor to confirm they were unnecessary and going to cost me a lot of money. Second, she made me feel very uncomfortable while reading my chart. She should not be around anyone who has suffered from depression or anxiety. Also anyone that may have had a history of drugs and alcohol. I had some- in my adolescence. She brought it up, which I know every doctor does. However- the way she reacted to me trying to explain more about it was highly inappropriate and uncalled for. To the point- that I actually said something to her about it. She didn't seem to care, nor did she apologize.
