Dr. Arta Farahmand, DDS

My dentist highly recommended Dr. Arta Farahmand when I needed treatment for advanced gum recession, saying that her excellent work showed great results for his patients. She has a beautiful office with leading edge equipment. Dr. Farahmand thoroughly explained my condition and the options for treatment. She is a caring, enthusiastic specialist who constantly studies and teaches, and I was convinced she would give me the best care. I have had two gum graft surgeries so far, and I am surpassingly pleased with the results. She has a very gentle touch, and I was surprised how little discomfort I had during the surgeries and the recovery periods. The surgical sites look wonderful, and I no longer have sensitivity or pain there. Dr. Farahmand and her hygienist, Gladys, go above and beyond in showing encouragement and support to their patients. I only wish I found them earlier!

Dr. Farahmand is a kind and caring periodontal specialist who does her best to make me feel comfortable and cared for every time I go to her office. She has done implants and periodontal surgery for me, and she has always done everything possible to make me feel at ease despite the extensive work. Dr. Farahmand makes sure I understand everything, my options, and how much they cost. Before the procedures, she always makes sure I am completely numb and constantly checks for my comfort. She has followed up by calling me at home each time and scheduling the necessary follow up appointments. She is very thorough in her communications, checkups, referrals, and even cleanings. Dr. Farahmand has restored my teeth and gums and I am truly grateful for all of her hard work. I am equally grateful for the dedicated and happy staff she has at her office that make all the… difference in the world. You can tell their goal is excellence and they achieve it. I get the best cleanings I've ever had by the dental hygienist, and the office manager, Noriko, simply doesn't make mistakes because she is so thorough and organized. She never hesitates to go the extra mile. They have a beautiful, clean office with state of the art technology, and Dr. Farahmand keeps up with the latest practices by being the editor of a periodontal paper and teaching at UCLA.
