Dr. Arteen Rassool, MD

Dr. Rassool and his staff have been the most professional, kind, courteous and competent of any medical professionals I have encountered since moving to Virginia in 2009 (10 years). Dr. Rassool never performed any unnecessary procedure or prescribed any treatment that wasn't helpful and cost effective. His staff went out of their way to be accommodating and kind when I had a VERY poor experience with another podiatrist in town. Dr. Rassool performed an outpatient ingrown toenail surgery on me and soothed my pain and fears the entire way through. Being a redhead I have a very low tolerance to pain and high tolerance to pain medication; and he took his time, allowed me to have my wife in the room with me; allowed me to play soft zen music to sooth my fears; took his time, numbing the area sufficiently, and explained every step of the way what he was doing, taking great care to ensure no additional or unnecessary pain was caused. He also took time to help reassure me after I was so very… upset from my previous experience with another doctor in town who had belittled and bullied me and my wife. His kindness, candor and experience shows what great bedside manner is truly all about. In another situation he replaced my ankle brace at no charge after I had worn mine terribly. He didn't have to do that, but he did because he is a good, kind and honest doctor and person in general. He reviewed my own treatments that I had been doing to help my tendonitis, as well as the medications I had been applying on my own and gave me kind and honest feedback. I could go on and on about Dr. Rassool and his amazing staff, but I'll just recommend that you go visit him if you have ANY podiatry needs. He is incredible! Thank you Dr. Rassool. I wish ALL doctors were like you!
