Dr. Montes never explained the risks of general anesthia to my husband when he had his surgery. He did not even do the pre-op question and medical history. He had a nurse do this and then signed off on it. He called my husband the night before his surgery leaving a message saying not to eat or drink anything after midnight. On the day of the surgery he asks if he has had any reactions to general anesthesia. Let's see my husband was having a laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair done which requires general anesthia--isn't it a little late to find an hour before surgery if he had reactions. Only met with my husband before surgery for 5 minutes and 2 minutes after. Can not justify a bill of $2200.00 for this considering my husband was perhypertensive before surgery and has in Stage 1 hypertension throughout the surgery. Way to monitor those vital signs!!!!!! Would not want him administering my anesthia.
