Dr. Arthur C. Abelow, MD

My wife and I are both patients of Dr. Abelow. He makes you feel very at ease. I have white coat syndrome and he is just an amazing doctor. Keeps you informed on procedure and has excellent follow up care. Very satisfied with Dr. Abelow and his Staff.

Scheduled appointment was at 10:00 am, The doctor did not come in the room until 11:50 am. The doctor was very short and rude. After being in the room for no longer than 5 minutes he told me he feels that Im depressed and have no gastric issues. As a employee of a Hospital, this is the worst bed side manner that i have ever received. This physician was very rude and if you can save yourself the trouble, DO NOT SCHEDULE ANY APPOINTMENTS WITH HIM!!

I love Dr. Abelow! Speaking to him is like speaking to a family member. I trust Dr. Abelow and I di nit trust many docs. I just wish getting in contact with him was easier. The office staff will not do more than send an email or chart message that never gets answered/seen.

Dr Abelow's consultations have always been informative and pleasant to my husband and I . We have been patients of him for over 10 years. His diagnosis and follow up and explanation of procedures are exemplary of what a specialist in his field should be. He explains the procedure and talks to you until you fall asleep. After procedure he checks on you to make sure you're ok and explains his findings.

He was very professional and accurate in his diagnosis. I like his bedside manners. Not rude, not abrupt. Most doctors are.

I found Dr. Abelow really easy to talk to. His schedule was booked, so it took awhile for me to get in, but I'm glad I waited to see him. He was compassionate and seemed really competent. He ordered basic tests that other physicians didn't (the GI's I went to before him), and found results that led to a diagnosis. I would really recommend him.

I was given an appointment to see the Dr. within a few days. Yesterday, I had an endoscopy & colonoscopy. I arrived on time to register, and was brought in to the preparatin room within 20 miutes. As soon as I was ready, I was taken into the room where Dr Abelow stood waiting. He was very pleasant and even fixed the pillow to try to make me more comfortable. That's the last that I remember because I received anesthesia and slept through both procedures.

This doctor is experienced at what he does. I will wait and see if he can help me with my problem. Good bedside manner.

2 hour wait time and I was his first procedure of the day. Abrupt and rude when the nurse expressed to him my concern for the lengthy wait. Unable to start the IV sedation. I was wide awake during the entire colonoscopy. A most unpleasant man/experience.
