Dr. Arthur Steven Annin, MD

Annin is a doctor's doctor. One gets all the time one wants with him and he gives complete explanations and is never condescending. If you are hospitalized he does not turn you over to a hospitalist. He is always up on current literature and advances. Probably one of the best internists in Lincoln.

Home based care collaboration is very poor and often time Dr. Annin is disrespectful, snide in his replies to agencies, and unwilling to fulfill his obligation as a primary care physician. His old-school approach I'm sure is appreciated by some, but doesn't jive with current standards of operation. He'll say he wants to be involved in care one day, then a couple days later will state he isn't responsible to sign orders-can't have it both ways doc! I have to assume he does this and is difficult because he cannot bill for those services-it is really sad and I would not recommend him as a PCP.

Dr. Annin heard a problem with my heart that a Nurse Practitioner could not hear. It turned out to be serious requiring surgery. My trust in him over the years has never been misplaced.

I am very pleased with the years of care I have received from Doctor Annin and his staff. Always on time and they return calls in a very timely manner. The staff are excellent and make me feel like family. Dr. Annin's advice has been excellent.
