Dr. A John Decarle, MD

He’s always late and rushes me. Gets irritated when there is too much for him to deal with at a time. Doesn’t really listen. Rushes me through everything I say.

Been seeing him for years... Always a good session...

I became a patent going on 13 years and I can say as time went on it got better and better. It started out a little shaky but I would say most of that was me. After lots and lots of medicine changes over the years he was able to fine tune things to the point where I was pretty stable. Even once things were somewhat better he continued to work with me on the medicine changes. For someone I was not too fond of, (most likely due to my current health conditions at that time), when I first met him. I am VERY happy the way things are going now. He is VERY cautious when making any medicine changes so there is a much less chance for any issues.

Been going to doctor Decarle for years and he has always been kind and listens...

I was very pleased with the doctor. He took time and asked questions rather than just prescribing meds. He was very thorough, polite and again took his time to get to know me and listen to my health issues.

As the husband of someone afflicted by a serious mental disorder, I was appalled at the lack of concern by Dr. Arthur John de Carl at actually helping his patients improve. Not only was Dr. de Carl rude to me, not even acknowledging my presence or nodding hello, but he also neglected to read any of the letters I had sent him in an effort to aid my wife's diagnosis. I was rudely informed that Dr. de Carl does not think about patients at all, outside of the scheduled time. I was informed that if I wanted him to read my letters, he would do so at the beginning of the following appointment. I cannot imagine how any doctor who is genuinely concerned with patient care would act in this way--if a family members cares enough to take time out of their busy day to provide extra information to the doctor, then it is the doctor's job to take said information into account. Most of the time given me to talk was spent by him rambling and not listening. I do not recommend that anyone see this doctor
