Dr. Arthur J Hopkins, MD

Dr. Hopkins is the best dr. I ever had. He listens attentively and addresses all my concerns. He is friendly and most importantly he is very thorough. I highly recommend him.

My recent physical with this Dr was a total ripoff. He spends less than 10 minutes with you while chattering about personal life. The diagnostics does not even exist; doesn't say two words after the exam and is busy banging out the bill in front of you. Top it off he codes the tests inaccurate and you wind up with a bill that is suppose to be 100% covered by BCBS as preventive routine care. This will be my last physical with this facility. The nurse who did most of the work was excellent!!

Skilled, but seems to have old info for certain things. The worst part about Dr. Hopkins is that he is extremely brusque. He gets you out of the door as soon as humanly possible. It can be difficult to get him to truly listen to you when you tell him what's wrong. This also causes him to jump to conclusions about what's wrong with you, because he thinks he knows what's happening before you're done telling him the symptoms and history of what's going on. Underneath that, he's very skilled. But he needs to slow down, pay attention to his patients, and learn to spend more than 30 seconds with them. He needs to remember that patients are people, not parts in an assembly line.

This Doctor is awesome. Always gets me better regardless of what I go see him for. Highly recommend him to everyone!
