Dr. Arthur Hok Luk, DDS

I have been a patient of dr Luk for many years and we have a great relationship. They are always very nice, I never have to wait and they do a lot of things besides just cleaning and you don't have to pay for expensive services somewhere else. I know that my insurance only covers 80% of the cleaning but dr Luk's office never charges me the rest. Years ago, I got upset with dr Luk for something that was really my fault and I went to another dentist. But soon after, when I had a tooth infection and ultimately I needed extraction, this new dentist was sending me to orthodontist which I had to find on my own and they are expensive, it was a lot of headache. So I called dr Luk and they were doing what I needed done and for a lot cheper. I gladly went back to dr Luk and do't regret it.

Without Dr. Luk's support I would definitely be a damsel in utter distress, as prior to Dr. Luk I was on two separate occasions assessed for the daunting diagnoses of needing dentures on all of my teeth, as one dentist near Highland Park had unduly stated the issue like this, "My only option really is just to pull all of your teeth and give you dentures." Later subsequent to a reference from a friend, @ 12 years ago Dr. Luk began repairing my smile during which time my jaw density grew to excellent as I now have implants (for @ 10 years, and still healthy), not dentures, on my front upper incisors, canines and premolars. Still two of my back lower molars will need future crowns, but Dr. Luk restored and brought to health all of my teeth to include those with crowns. His excellent skill, superior knowledge, beyond impressive workmanship, high dedication concomitant to his uncritical, personable bedside manner is the reason I smile today. He is an above par exceptional dentist and… I feel honored to recommend him to anyone, especially those who are in dire need of an exceptional dentist! Thank you Dr. Luk and your team!! I would give this place zero stars if I could. They don’t care about their patients. All they care about is making money and they don’t do good work. They overcharged me and treated me terribly. The front desk staff is awful. I beg of you please don’t go here, save your money and go to a reputable facility and dentist. I would give this place zero stars if I could. He did a root canal and crown and he left some of my road which I found out they going to a different dentist that actually cared. He overcharged me for simple consultation that under my plan should have been $10 and he charge me $60. The front desk staff is incredibly incompetent and disrespectful to patients. He also overcharge me for the root canal and… crown. Do not go here!

I always have a great experience with Dr. Luk and his staff. Tim (front desk) is extremely personable and helpful. Dr. Luk always makes me feel like he cares about me and my health. I've been going there for 6 years, even after moving out of Richardson.

I've been Dr. Luk's patient for 16 years now. Dr. Luk is friendly and most importantly a great dentist who does awesome work. Dr. Luk's staff are very friendly. My family also see's Dr. LUK. I highly would recommend.

His shots hurts! Worse dental experiences ever. He speaks pretty broken English. His staffs were quiet like they hate working there. His brother/office manager gets ZERO star for customer service.

My four children and I have been going to Dr. Luk for the past 20 years. We have never had a negative experience. Three of my children have had their wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Luk and they did not have any complications. We have had fillings and cleanings through those years and have never felt that Dr. Luk attempted to do any extra work that was not necessary. We have not had any crowns or root canals during that time. I also attribute that to the quality preventative care Dr. Luk and his staff provide. The office manager, Tim, has been helpful, courteous and willing to work with us on a payment plan when possible. I would recommend Dr. Luk to anyone who is in need of an outstanding dentist and I have recommended many people to him over the years. He is a great dentist who truly cares about his patients.

This "dentist" is a joke. STAY AWAY.

We tried to make appointment 3 weeks ago. We asked Tim(Dr.Luk's brother) to help us verify our insurance information so that we can make appointment but he was very rude and said"we had thousands patients,How can we check every patient's insurance?"I called three times this week.First time,the front desk lady said she would check our information but I heard nothing from them on that day, Second time, I gave her our information again,she said she would check it. Again, I heard nothing from them. Third time, I asked her when can we make appointment. She said we don't have your insurance information....WHAT????? She said they need to see the insurance paper. No fax,no email ,even we said we can deliver the paper in person, she still said NO!The only way they accept is through postal mail. This is really ridiculous!!!!!!!!! Finally, we decide to find another dentist. I went to there twice without insurance, their attitude was ok. But this time, with insurance, their attitude is… like.....We will never go to this clinic again!!!
