Dr. Arthur V Morey, MD

Love Dr. Morey. I trust him, he delivered two of my three children. He listened to my concerns and would give valid counters if we weren't quite on the same page. I have a lot of respect for him and have no issues having him as a physician. I prefer him over several others I've seen, actually, and he's a top pick for me.

Excellent doctor. Wonderful bedside manner, caring. I had an appointment with him and the office staff made a mistake and put me with another doctor. The nurse asked him when he was leaving if he could see me, he said no problem at all. I had a complication after a and he saw me through it all the way to the end, easing my fears by listening and talking me through it. Can't say enough good things about him.

When I was pregnant with my daughter in 2007, I had switched to Dr. Morey's office. I love this Dr. He is funny, caring, patient, and makes sure you understand everything before the appointment is over. I was so privileged to have gone into labor when he was on call. He talked me through everything it was so much easier than I thought it would be. Even after the baby came out he talked me through what was happening next.I left my old gynecologist after my daughter was born and switched to Dr. Morey permanently. I recently went to Dr. Morey with concerns of not being able to get pregnant again. He assured me I could and not to worry and a month later I found out I was pregnant! I must say I wish he was affiliated with a hospital other than Upper Chesapeake because he's a great Doctor I just prefer to deliver at other hospitals but I refuse to leave the care of Dr. Morey. I recommend him to everyone!

He happened to be at the hospital when i arrived with my 1st. I loved him from the minute i met him and to this day, another pregnancy and now just yearly checkups. He takes his time, cares, answers your concerns and not once have i felt rushed/put off or not handled as i expect to be handled for gyn issues. If you want a doctor that will take care of you from pre pregnancy, pregnancy and post pregnancy, i wouldn't recommend any one else. He has become someone that i know i can trust with any issues/concerns i have and will take care of me as if i am his only patient!

Dr. Morey puts you at ease and goes the extra mile to reassure and correctly diagnose any and all issues/concerns. Great bedside manner... He makes an 'awkward experience' very easy & comfortable.

First off, I've had many doctors before due to moving around the world throughout my life. I've have never been able to build a relationship with any of my primary care doctors or any specialists. I have seen Dr. Morey about 4 times. He diagnosed me with moderate to severe dysplasia with a coloscopy and performed my LEEP procedure. My coloscopy was completely painless. He also performed my mother's hysteroscopy and biopsy and she said it was completely painless for her as well. From what I read, the pain level seems to depend on your GYN more than the patient as an individual so I consider him very skilled. He is caring enough to spend time with me to answer my questions and explain everything in detail to me. He is incredibly good at calling back/following up and letting me know that he's there for me so I can call his office and speak to him as soon as he's available which no other doctor has ever told me I'm welcome to. Now, like I've said before, I've never developed a… relationship with any primary care doctors or specialists I've had before and going into my LEEP procedure which is a rather common, BUT scary procedure, I felt very comforted knowing that he was the one doing my surgery and he was there to say hello to me before i was given the twilight anesthesia to which i felt 100% fine right after the surgery. Anyhow, I think Dr. Morey is just the greatest and deserves the recognition that he is an exceptional doctor.

I've never had a doctor that cared so much and took the time to sit down with me and ask me "Whats going on?" Love Doc Morey!!! Hes AWESOME!

I would absolutely never recommend this doctor. He is not thorough, he has a terrible bedside manner and does not listen to or respond to a patients concerns. He is extremely negligent.
