Not worth visiting. Reluctant to help. Should retire. Seems bored working as a Psychiatrist. Worth contacting the American Board of Psychiatry in Buffalo Grove, Illinois about his inability, and resistance to help. Worth contacting the Illinois state Board of Health. Absolutely a terrible Psychiatrist. WARNING: DO NOT SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THIS PSYCHIATRIST, AS YOU ONLY HAVE ONE CHANCE TO SWITCH ONCE ENROLLED IN CARLE PSYCHIATRY.

I almost committed suicide after my last of three visits with him. He was awful!

Aside from his arrogant, I don't care attitude, he is controlling of his patients, he doesn't listen AT ALL to patient concerns, he doesn't answer questions regarding your treatment plan. He does not like to be challenged, therefore he will not justify his decisions in regards to meds. Its his way or nothing at all. I was kept home from work for a week with severe panic attacks, he had taken me off medication I had been on for years and refused to refill or write a prescription for anxiety disorder. Further, after I filed a complaint, he wrote false statements and diagnosis in my medical record. This, to undermine and discredit me, to protect himself. Every time I left his office I was in tears. Worse off then when I came in. I need MORE help now because of this experience. Cold, uncaring, calculating and sick.

Subdued, understated, but pleasant, no-nonsense, careful in wording, soft-spoken and kind. I had no problems with this doctor.
