Dr. Arthur R Volker

Arthur R. Volker, DDS, MSEd, FAGD
A Woodside native, Dr. Volker graduated from Columbia University’s School of Dental and Oral Surgery, and completed a General Practice Residency at the New York Hospital of Queens. He is an attending at Coler-Goldwater Specialty Hospital and Nursing Facility, where he supervises dental residents performing clinical procedures.  Dr. Volker lectures on various dental topicsto dental residents and students, medical students and physicians.  He serves as Vice-Chairman of the hospital’s Graduate Medical Education Committee, and is the hospital’s dental technology liaison to the NYC Health and Hospital Corporation. He is currently co-authoring a chapter in an upcoming textbook on dental implants. Dr. Volker is certified to perform Invisalign as well as “Six Month Smiles™” adult orthodontic treatment. Dr. Volker was the recipient of the esteemed Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry, where he serves as the Academy's Vice …President of Queens, and is Co-Chairman of the New Dentist Committee.  Additionally, Dr. Volker is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the Queens County Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Empire State Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Steinway Dental Study Club, and the Special Care Dental Association.
