She never checked child’s BP, HR, Pulse etc. She didn’t want to do blood work despite family history of disease. She said “I don’t want to look for something if she doesn’t have symptoms.” I happen to disagree because I would rather be proactive rather than reactive. I felt very rushed and didn’t feel like she was interested in hearing or dealing with my concerns. After she was finished talking and I tried to ask a very important question she very rudely told me she had to go to her next patient. Which left my child and I feeling awkward and unheard. If your child has something wrong and has glaring symptoms she may find it, but if they don’t have the typical textbook symptoms don’t expect her to find out what’s wrong or spend the time to “look.”
