Dr. Artie Barnebus Ricaud

Let me first start by saying the office is very nice and staff is very friendly. However, be prepared to put out more money than most dentist offices. I spent a lot of money with this dentist office and had to get a tooth filled. After the procedure was completed, I started having more nerve pain & called the office to request Dr Ricaud examine the tooth to see why I was still in pain. I back to the office the following week to have the tooth examined and Dr Ricaud examined the tooth and it took less than a couple of minutes and told me he didn't find anything. When I went to checkout, I was told I owed $157.00 for the examination. I disputed the charge because I had already paid a tremendous amount of money and should have not been charged for something that should have been done correctly in the first place. So I cancelled my next cleaning appointment because they didn't do a good job cleaning my teeth previously. To my surprise, they sent me a bill for $157.00 they… previously gave me a credit for. I do not like their deceptive business practices and will not be returning to this office. I will also be reporting this to the BBB.

I went in for my 3rd cleaning and was told they needed x-rays again before cleaning. Then I was told I could not get the cleaning until my insurance was checked again. One week later they called and said I will need a "deeper cleaning" at a much higher price than the "deep cleaning" I had previously. I asked if I could get the x-rays that I paid for and take them elsewhere since the cleaning previously was not good anyway. They said if I signed a release. When I signed the release they refused to email my x-rays. They also charge for exams and consultations with the dentist that do not occur.

after hearing Dr. Artie's name recommended a few times in conversations, I reached out and scheduled an appointment, I needed a 2nd opinion and he gave me a great suggestion on what I needed, I went in for the work, and it was an overall great experience and his people are great!

GOD CANT FAIL!
