Literally waited over an hour for my apt

I called this office to schedule a routine colonoscopy. That afternoon after my appointment I started thinking about ALL the questions I was asked. I had a feeling this was turning into a diagnostic procedure! Which, I knew my insurance would not cover. I called with my concerns on that very day of my appointment. Well, the office manager finally called me back a week later. As suspected my procedure was filed as diagnostic. I was told Dr. Bravo can not lie about my visit? I never asked him to lie! I am the one who called for this stupid colonoscopy because of my age. My insurance pays 100% for a routine colonoscopy. Anyway, my advice to anyone else who is in need of a routine colonoscopy. Make sure you tell Dr. Bravo you are there for a 'ROUTINE' colonoscopy or he will twist your words making the visit look as if it is diagnostic. Which, pays himself more by your insurance carrier than a 100% paid routine colonoscopy!

Dr Bravo doesn't really care about his patients. He seems to rush through them to hurry and get through his day. Im making sure to tell everyone I know who needs a GI doctor that if anyone ever refers him to think twice because he's not worth the time and especially worth the money.

Dr Bravo and his staff were excellent from accommodating my last minute appointment to educating me on my procedure (Johana) and the procedure itself was quick and Dr Bravo was right in with the findings and explanation

I've been to this Doctor twice. Both times I've been to see him he spent maybe 10 minutes with me at best and had very poor bedside manner. First time he said he was doing 4 blood tests but when I got the orders, it turned into 12! When I came back to the office for a follow up for my results, he told me that one blood test came back positive and didn't give me the exact numbers (I was in shock obviously). I called back and spoke to a very inexperienced Nurse. She indicated that TWO blood tests were positive so at this point, I'm confused. I have a biopsy scheduled later this month and have another appointment scheduled for those results. Regardless of what they come back with I will definitely be seeking a second opinion from another Gastro. Was not impressed.

Before the appointment, I was very hopeful that this doctor could fix my problems. I came in and had a very long waiting time which I usually don't mind because that usually means the doctor spends a lot of time with their patients and care. Nope. He didn't seem to care that I was in a large amount of pain. Dr. Bravo ordered tests and didn't explain why he ordered them when I asked. He just told me that we'll see what happens, and sent me to someone else.
