Dr. Chandrakantan is a great physician. He always is caring, friendly and professional. He also took plenty of time to answer all concerns, never rushed me.

I have known Dr. C for almost 15 years. He was an attending doctor when I had my kidney transplant. I see him several times a year for my follow-up post transplant care. He is AMAZING! I am extremely involved in my treatment plan, and he treats me the utmost respect and listens to me. I totally have faith and trust in his medical abilites. I am almost 15yrs post transplant and doing very well.

My brother is going to him. He and his office are trying to keep us out. Dr. Chandrakantan with the help of his staff is trying to force my brother on dialysis like he has a quota for his for profit dialysis center. He refuses to run tests to give him a diagnosis and call my brothers other doctors to try to force him on dialysis. We want to know why my brother’s kidneys are failing and he has refuse to try to find out. He tries to isolate my brother, not treating diagnosed illness he knows he has which is making my brother worse and he is trying to force him on dialysis! He is ignoring his requests to help with transplant process. His treatment of my brother has been cruel. Our experience has been horrible and we are looking for another doctor within Baylor system which he is making difficult!

My experience with this doctor is truly horrible! He made me feel like he was working against me & didn’t care about my quality of life! No preventative care and no real diagnosis. He refuse to treat diagnosis he knew I had! He did nothing to help me stay off dialysis. It seemed like the only thing he cares about is filling his for profit Diaylsis center. His office made me feel like they were bullying me and we’re very rude! My family chose to find a more caring doctor!
