Dr. Arun Kapur, DO

My Doctor retired so it was good to find one that I knew could be around for awhile and that I have confidence in. When I went for a physical he was very through and made sure I was up to date on all neccessary checks, for a woman of my age. Addressed Blood Work concerns and is on top of helping me get to where my numbers should be. I had to have an Mammogram and have a history of BC. While at my appointment, my order/requisition didn't show with diagnostic so we called the dr office to get it added, I was upset they wouldn't change my orders to what I wanted. Late that evening, Dr. Kapur called to check on me and talk about what went on. That meant more to me than I can say. That extra time he took to call me made me decide to keep him as my primary.

Does not answer your questions. Wants to make useless appointments and make money. Very dissatisfied with this doctor.

I will not recommend this physician. He does not listen to your ailements and wishes to do what he wants to do. He is also money driven. His staff is incompetent and rude.

Seen Dr Kapur for over 2 years for high blood pressure almost every 2 weeks. He has finally admitted ( after 2 years ) that he doesn’t specialize in heart problems and then proceeded to answer his personal cell phone and had a 10 minute conversation in the room as he paced back and forth. My insurance company has now informed me that I need to find another Dr because my current one treats my insurance company like a money free for all. Now after all this time and all the different medications he’s put me on that have put me in the ER numerous times I have nothing to show for it and still have high blood pressure at 39 years old. The last time I was in the ER in the same building as his office he couldn’t be bothered to see me. The attending nurse told me to check out and go to Henry Ford if I want help because everyone here is just out for money. I didn’t take her advise and what do you know, I got set up with 100 tests when it was just a medication reaction. So take what I say for… what it is and if I personally knew you I would tell you to please not go here or any ascension’s facility.

Dr. Kapur has been fabulous in dealing with my husband's many health issues. We are so confident in his health care decisions. We highly recommend him. He is extremely knowledgeable, and his decisions have had a positive impact on my husband's health issues. We so appreciate him!

He can probably receipt his medical books, but common sense and experience are seriously lacking. Try back in 10 years or so.
