Dr. Arun Narang, MD

I have never been so quickly dismissed, disrespected, and uncared for to this degree by any other health professional I've met. Dr. Narang didn't trust himself enough to greet me as he walked in the room before logging into his computer and realizing I was a new patient. He then flatly stated "nice to meet you" keeping his eyes on his monitor without turning around. He began to read my medical history and the first thing he asked is if I was employed. I stated I currently was not - he immediately mentioned that he wouldn't prescribe me the medication I've been taking for a decade as a result of my employment status. No lie, this man had not asked me a single question about my livelihood, my physical or mental wellbeing and was telling me what he decided NOT to do for me within a minute of meeting me. I had waited 2 months for this appointment and attempted to utter a single sentiment, "Shouldn't a doctor attempt to understand their patient before making such blanket statements?" I… could not finish a single sentence before being interrupted multiple times, "I've been doing this for 45 years, I know what I'm doing. People abuse medication and sell it to their friends." I immediately left and apologized to the lovely staff at the front desk. I feel sorry that they have to deal with such a gaslighting arrogant stump of a human being.

I've been going to him since I was about 47yrs old and I'm now almost 80yrs old. He's saved my life too many times to count. He is an awesome Doctor. Before me I had him for my Mom also. He was just great with her. I trust him 100%. God Bless him.

He is good at what he does it seems like he cares about my health and well being
