Dr Patel surgically repaired a detached retina in my eye. Ten years later, the condition of the retina is very good. With minor correction in my glasses for nearsightedness, I can read the 20 / 20 line on the eye chart with the repaired eye. I see Dr Patel annually for eye exams. He is friendly, courteous and very thorough in the examination of the eye.

Dr Patel re- attached my retina on my left eye. He was a true professional - very honest and forthright with his analysis and recommended surgery plan. Very confident and reassuring through the whole one-year recovery process - excellent follow-up with a great staff support.

Dr. Patel is very authoritarian - - he seemed more concerned with controlling me than with treating me. I won't be seeing him again and would not recommend him to anyone.

I have been a patient of Dr. Patel's for the past several years. On a routine visit he detected a torn retina. He immediately performed urgent surgery to repair the torn retina. I knew I was in good hands! Dr. Patel also performed more extensive surgery on my right eye to remove a macular pucker, which was restricting my eyesight.
