Dr. Aruna Varma received her medical degree from Kurnool Medical Center in Andhra Pradesh, India in 1970. She knew she was “home†when she first walked into the Pediatric Unit at Children’s Hospital in Madras, where she completed her internship in 1971. She served her Medical two-year residency at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio Daniel Drake Memorial Hospital then completed her Pediatric residency at Nassau County Medical Center in New York. She joined Graybill Medical Group in 1994.
Dr. Varma is a member of the San Diego County Medical Society and the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a staff member at Children’s Hospital and Palomar Hospital. She speaks several Indian languages fluently and is proficient in Spanish.
