Dr. Arunachalam Thenappan, MD

Dr thenappan is a great oncologist, I was referred to him in 2020 when I was diagnosed with leukemia. As this was a chock to me getting this diagnosis and had me very worried his knowledge and experience put me at ease. He strongly recommended that I have my spleen removed and that I should be able to live a normal life again. That surgery was some of the worst pain I’ve ever experienced the recovery was tuff for me. For the last five years I’ve been seeing him every couple of months and my prognosis is very good. He has always been direct and to the point,, he never sugar coated anything. I had an appointment with him yesterday 11/25/24 he told me that he was retiring in a couple of weeks I was sorry to hear that for my own selfish reasons. Thank you Dr thenappan for your care and passion.

Would have liked to see doctor earlier but we were a new patient. Staff is great.

I like Dr Thenappan, I really have no complaints about him. He is thorough and pleasant. The intake nurse was pleasant but put me in the blood draw space with many patients and staff and then started asking me questions from the desk about my medications, surgical history and healthcare. I suggested that she already had this info because it wasn’t my first time there. She replied there was a new computer. Further training is needed before asking patients health info in a room with other people and patients. It’s just not something I care to share with a room full of other people

Great bedside manner, easy to talk to He explain everything that you need to know and understand . I would not hestitate to recomend him . He's a great Doctor. Know what He is doing.

All I can say he’s the best doctor very pleasant knowledgeable and listen to the patient and ask you questions which I love about him . I always feel safe around him bc he’s there to help the patient.

Dr Thenappan is absolutely the BEST. He is a very caring, empathic and knowledgeable clinician, who takes the time to talk to his patients. He makes sure that you fully understand everything pertaining to your health issues he addressed. Thank You Dr Thenappan!

Dr. Thenappan is wonderful. He takes the necessary time to spend with the patient to explain everything in and complete and understanding way. Never seems in a hurry to get in and get out. His bedside manner is also very professional. I am so pleased to have found such a competent and thorough doctor.
